On the first day you will see the very symbol of Rome, the Colosseum, and the ruins of the Roman forum. This was the core of Ancient Rome

We will then drive to the “Queen of all roads” , the Appian way, started in 312 b.C. it was the link with the southern part of the Roman Empire. The drive is very pleasant, it feels like you are in the countryside, minutes form the city center!

Going further on the Appian way, you will visit the catacombs, an ancient burial site that goes on for miles of tunnels through a sediment of a local limb stone.

Not far from the catacombs, you can walk on a gorgeous section, near the tomb of Cecilia Metella, where you can also see the original cobble stones.

For lunch, you can pick a place or have the driver suggest a place!

After lunch, we’ll take you to the amazing Piazza Navona, an incredible hidden gem.You need a real local to help you understand why piazza Navona has it’s unique shape, and what it hides…

Not far from Piazza Navona, you must see the Pantheon. Incredible example of advanced roman architecture.A real jump in the past!

Our next stop will be the Trevi fountain. This masterpiece needs no introduction as famous as it is.It will be your turn to toss the three coins in a fountain!

We will start with a little treat that not everyone gets to see!

The key-hole! On the Aventine hill, a very quiet area, near the gorgeous garden of oranges, you can admire a stunning view... yes! Through a key-hole!

We will then drive to the stunning Basilica of St. Paul outside the walls, second largest in Rome and dating back to emperor Constantine’s time.

Castel sant’Angelo, not far from the Vatican, built as the burial site for emperor Hadrian, it was then converted into this stunning fortress, connected to the Vatican by a “secret” walkway, and to the old city by the gorgeous bridge of angels.

After lunch, the driver will take you to the Vatican (Closed on Sundays and on religious celebrations) , where guided by your tour guide, you will visit the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica.

You will then be driven back to hotel
